Are all Waterpik toothbrush heads interchangeable?

These Waterpik toothbrush replacement tips are compatible with Waterpik Water Flosser models such as Complete Care WP-900, WP-950, WP-952 Ortho Care and SR-3000 Sensonic Professional Toothbrush.

Can I put mouthwash in my Waterpik?
Can patients use mouthwash, Chlorhexidine, or Listerine in the Waterpik® Water Flosser? We recommend using warm water. Mouthwash – A small amount of mouthwash can be added to the water for flavoring and/or to enhance compliance. Chlorhexidine and Listerine – Have been clinically tested for use with the Water Flosser.
How do you clean a Waterpik?
Based on your model, mix 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 16 ounces of warm water. Run this solution through the unit until the reservoir is empty. Rinse by repeating with a full reservoir of clean warm water.
Can I use tap water in my Waterpik?
Just use tap water. Mid temperature is best. If you have plaque problems, there are powder additives you can purchase to help with the problem.
Can I put hydrogen peroxide in my Waterpik?
A capful of hydrogen peroxide is safe to use in your Waterpik. You can also add some saltwater to boost the antibacterial effects.
Do you still need to floss when using a Waterpik?
Yes. Keep in mind that water flossers are only an adjunct to brushing and flossing. If you only use water flossers and don’t floss you can still get cavities in between your teeth. You need to break the contact between your teeth with floss.
